Every token stores its own mint timestamp. getStage() reads the clock and the tokenURI swaps every layer — face, body, mutation overlay, accessories, background.

Egg

A speckled bushland egg, wet-shelled and hairline-cracked. Nobody knows what's inside. Not even the contract.

Stage 1Month 3

Infant Mutant

Hatch day. Oversized joey head, wet pink snout, ears already too big for the skull.

Species + Head Shape + Ears + Eyes + Nose revealed. Hats and gunk locked.

Stage 2Year 1

Child Mutant

Teeth come in. First drool, first boogers, first stolen hat off a washing line.

Teeth, Nose/Gunk layer, Headwear and 1 Accessory slot unlock.

Adolescent Mutant

Skatepark era. Stoned eyes, slime overlays, a durry hanging out of the jaw.
